4th grade will be going to Heller Nature Center , which connects perfectly with the science curriculum on the forest ecosystem, food chains, and food webs. Interesting “hands-on” activities are planned that will reinforce important science concepts.

Please make sure your child dresses in comfortable clothing that is appropriate for the weather. It might be a good idea to bring rain gear. Also, please send a brown bag lunch. “Food Day “orders will be reimbursed.

Any students that are retaking school pictures should dress nicely for school and bring a change of clothes for the field trip. Picture retakes will take place before we leave for Heller.
